Evaluation de la conformité de la radioprotection dans les installations de radiologie médicale dans la ville de Kinshasa

Abstract

The equipment used in the various radiological installations of Kinshasa is for the most part obsolete and constitutes a serious problem of radioprotection for the technicians-radiologists, the patients, the public and the environment. The objective of this study is to determine the conformity of radiation protection in the radiological installations in the city of Kinshasa. The sample size is 18 radiological facilities located in the 24 Communes of Kinshasa, divided into 3 axes, including Kin-Est, Kin-Center and Kin-Ouest. On each axis, 6 radiological installations are selectionned : - Kin-Est (Gombele Medical Center / CMG, Emerald Clinic, University Clinics of Kinshasa, Victoria Medical Center, Saint Gabriel Hospital Center and Kalembelembe Pediatric Hospital); - Kin-Center (Kisenso State General Hospital, CMK Rapha, Bondeko Clinic, Yolo-Medical Hospital, Saint Joseph Hospital, N'djili Hospital Q / 7); - Kin-Ouest (Kinshasa General Referral Hospital, La Borne Hospital Center, Ngaliema / Gombe Clinic, Nganda / Kintambo Hospital Center, ONATRA Specialized Hospital Center and Monkole Hospital Center).
