Résumé
La qualité du diagnostic microbiologique dépend de la compétence technique et de la solidité du système de management de la qualité (SMQ). Cette étude a évalué le Système de Management Qualité du laboratoire de diagnostic des salmonelloses de l’Hôpital Général de Référence Saint-Luc de Kisantu et décrit les cultures bactériennes. Une étude descriptive transversale a été réalisée au laboratoire de l’HGR Saint-Luc de Kisantu. L’évaluation a porté sur les différents éléments du système de management de la qualité, notamment [les ressources humaines, les équipements, les réactifs, la documentation, les procédures opératoires, la gestion des échantillons et le contrôle de qualité]. L’audit du SMQ reposait sur 100 critères cotés de 0 à 2. Le niveau global de conformité correspondait au rapport entre score obtenu et score maximal. Les données de 931 patients examinés entre mai et juillet 2026 ont été analysées par fréquences, khi carré, test exact de Fisher et régression logistique. Le laboratoire a obtenu 126/200 points, soit une conformité globale de 63,0 %. Les réactifs et consommables, la phase analytique et l’antibiogramme ont atteint 100 %. Les principales insuffisances concernaient l’organisation et le management (12,5 %), la gestion des non-conformités (0 %) et l’amélioration continue (0 %). Parmi les 931 cultures, 103 étaient positives (11,1 %) et 30 correspondaient à Salmonella spp. (3,2 %). L’âge était associé à la positivité en analyse bivariée (p = 0,030), mais aucune variable n’était significative dans le modèle multivarié. Le laboratoire présente une compétence analytique encourageante, mais un SMQ insuffisamment institutionnalisé. Les priorités sont le leadership, la documentation, le contrôle qualité, la gestion des non-conformités et l’amélioration continue.
