Abstract
The general objective of this study to identify the determinants of the high prevalence of neonatal infections at Ipamu General Referral Hospital; in the province of Kwilu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. To carry out this study, we conducted a cross-sectional survey of the deliveries followed in the hospital setting of Ipamu. The results obtained reveal that neonatal infections as a result of prolonged labor and maternal fever during labor are the maternal factors that influence neonatal infections, to which are added the lack of knowledge about pregnancy, the course of the pregnancy. childbirth and prevention of neonatal infections.
