Résumé

Cette étude vise à vérifier la relation entre le gain pondéral gestationnel et l’issue de l’accouchement chez les parturientes dans les zones de santé de Bonzola et Kansele dans la ville de Mbuji-Mayi. Nous avons mené une étude transversale descriptive à visée analytique auprès d’un échantillon de 119 sujets obtenus à l’aide du logiciel G-POWER. Des résultats trouvés on peut retenir que la majorité (79,8 %) des femmes avaient un gain pondéral insuffisant par rapport à la norme. Les femmes enceintes ayant un gain pondéral gestationnel insuffisant, entraineraient une issue maternelle défavorable soit par une grossesse non à terme (OR.aj = 25,290, IC95% [4,529-141,208], p= 0,000), une durée d’accouchement prolongée (OR.aj = 8,4, IC95% [4,2 -16,91], p= 0,000). Les résultats trouvés révèlent également que le gain pondéral gestationnel insuffisant, influence faiblement une issue néonatale défavorable de l’accouchement par la naissance prématurée (OR.aj = 0, 079, [IC95%= 0,013-0, 503], p= 0,007) et influence de manière significative la taille à la naissance du nouveau-né (OR.aj = 3,862, [IC95%=1,136- 13,125], p= 0,030). Alors que les femmes enceintes ayant un gain pondéral gestationnel excessif, amèneraient une issue maternelle défavorable soit par une rupture prématurée des membranes (OR.aj= 110,31, [IC95%=2,792-4357,5], p=0,012) et un accouchement dystocique (OR.aj = 27,46, [IC95%=1,073-703,116], p= 0,045).
